John G teaches back to back cycling/Body Pump classes on Fridays. Unfortunately, I arrived to his cycling class about 10 minutes late, but still worked sufficiently hard to feel exhausted afterwards. So much so that I wanted to curl up and take a nap.
As a result, I was tempted to take it easy during Body Pump and lift lighter weights. On the other hand, I didn't want to lose the progress I had made on Tuesday when I took Debbie's Body Pump class and managed to pile on more weight for each exercise. So I convinced myself to maintain my new weight load. As tiring as it was, I felt really pumped (no pun intended) afterwards. It must have been those endorphins kicking in! I think I'll make this my new Friday routine from now on.
